I’ve always believed that each individual views the world through a lens shaped by their unique role within it. Yet, none of us exist in isolation; we are all part of a larger whole—be it a small family unit, a broader community, or society as a whole. Understanding this interconnectedness is essential for growth and for crafting a life that aligns with your core values.
I began my professional journey by earning a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. This led to nine incredible years as a secondary school teacher, both locally and internationally. During that time, I had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and young adults in a range of educational and treatment settings, and it was a truly fulfilling experience.
In 2011, I made the life-changing decision to pivot my career and earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counselling from Seton Hall University. Today, as a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO), I work within the Toronto community and in private practice, continuing to support young people from diverse cultures, countries, and backgrounds.
Becoming a mother and living in a vibrant, multicultural city has only deepened my passion for working with adolescents. It has inspired me to focus on making mental health resources more accessible for everyone in our community. Advocacy remains a cornerstone of my work, especially regarding Violence Against Women (VAW) issues, where I strive to create awareness and foster healing.
In addition to therapy, I conduct workshops for young clients, addressing critical topics such as consent, surviving trauma, forgiveness, and the profound impact these issues have on learning and development. My mission is to empower individuals with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges, thrive, and create meaningful change in their lives and communities.

My Philosophy As A Therapist.
Each journey through life is unique, and this understanding forms the cornerstone of my responsibility as your therapist. My approach is rooted in the belief that your story, experiences, and strengths are powerful tools for transformation.
Life is a journey shaped by the lessons we learn, the relationships we cultivate, and the positive and negative experiences that form our personal lens. This lens, crafted by how we’ve adapted to our life experiences, influences the patterns we create and the paths we follow. Within each of us lies extraordinary strength—sometimes buried but always present. Together, we’ll uncover these strengths and use them to break free from negative patterns, paving the way for meaningful change. As we assess where you are and map out where you want to go, I’ll provide guidance and support every step of the way.
Here are the primary therapy models I use to guide our work together:
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Narrative Therapy
- Attachment Theory
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we’ll create a space for healing, self-discovery, and empowerment.
